From September 5 to 19, Dr. Marcia Lyles, Deputy Chancellor for Teaching and Learning, will answer your questions about what the City’s public school students learn. She works with her team to develop learning standards and curriculum, evaluate textbooks, and collaborate with educators to improve schools.

Although the learning standards are the same all across the City, our students have a huge variety of options. Programs are available to help students with varying needs succeed. Find out more about:
